Sonia M. Ledermann

Sonia Mae Ledermann, 74, of Borodino, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully Sunday after a long illness.   Sonia was active in the community, serving with The Borodino Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary, the Spafford Area Historical Society and the Martisco Lions Club.

Sonia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Curtis; her son, Mark; her daughter-in-law, Cindy; her granddaughter, Katie and her sister, Anita Miller, of Roselle Park, NJ.

A memorial service will be held at the Borodino United Methodist Church, Sunday, February 5, at 12:15 p.m. 

Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or donors@stjude.org, for in her words,  “I can take my being sick, but it breaks my heart to see the children suffer.”  She will be sorely missed.
