MERRILL CLARK'S  RETIREMENT PARTY

Merrill Clark will retire as Spafford Highway Superintendent at the end of this year. In December of 1989, fresh from a machine shop in Cortland, Clark began working with the Spafford Highway Department. He soon got his first taste of snowplowing...and never looked back!  Married to wife Rose, and five grandkids richer, Clark says he's looking forward to part-time carpentry work with his son, and spending some leisure time hunting and fishing. He hopes to become more involved in the Martisco Lions Club, and is still active in the Spafford Volunteer Fire Department.
