Dates to Remember June 17th Mike Woodford of Woodford Brothers will talk about restoring old buildings. July 11th, 11:00 am "A Visit From an Early Trapper" Storyteller, Scott Peal will present a historic re-enactment that will entertain the whole family. August 1st, 8am-3pm Barn Sale Sell your own "stuff" or donate your items to SAHS and we will sell them. Enjoy a hot dog as you peruse the sale items. Antique vendors will be selling. September 16th, 7:30 pm Patty Elkovitch, a wellknown area quilter, will present a program on quilts and invites attendees to bring their family quilts to share.

Webb Stevens, Spafford Town Supervisor will speak
about the historical significance of draft horses. You may have passed
Webb Steven's farm on Route 41 when the majestic Percherons were
grazing. Or maybe you saw the foals in the spring. Mr. Steven's will
talk about how draft horses have provided the power to build and feed
our nation before trucks and tractors. He will include the effort it has
taken by many to keep these magnificent horses from becoming a thing of
the past.

SAHS REGULAR MEETINGS Meetings are held monthly the second Wednesday of every month, at 7:30 PM. October thru December meetings will be held at the Spafford Town Hall. No meetings are held January -February.
December TBA Look for the date of our SAHS Christmas House Tour and Country Sotre. We will again have the Borodino Hall decorated for the season, musical entertainment and Christmas cookies for sale by the pound.
