They have a Drop-Off Box at the Marietta Post
Office. Borodino Church has a Food Drive the 1st Sunday of
every month. People can also drop off food at her house on 743 Route
41, Homer (as there is no one at the Fire Barn most times)
How it works: You go to the Spafford Fire House 3rd Friday of
the month, from 4 PM-8 PM. You pick out the food you want. Rose
has 4 helpers, someone will always be on hand to show you the ropes.
Rose Clark started the Spafford Food Cupboard in May
2001 when approached by Peace, Inc. of Tully about forming a food
pantry. It took 6 months from first inception, until Rose found the
necessary form needed to legally set it up (a 503c form) with the help
of the Borodino Church. Borodino Church is their "umbrella"
or sponsor. The actual pantry is held in a room at the Spafford Fire
House. She would like people to know that emergency food is
available, people can give her a call at home and she will open the
doors.
