The Food Pantry is open every third Friday of each month for families in the Spafford, Borodino, and Scott area at Scott United Methodist Church on Rte 41 in Scott. Hours are from 2:00-6:00 pm.

FOOD PANTRY **NEWS**

 The food pantry needs Christmas gifts for kids age 3 to 12 year-olds. If you would like a child to buy for call Rose Clark at (607-749-2753), or you can buy a gift and drop it off at Vernak store or town hall by Dec 15.

The Alan Feinstein Foundation is donating one million dollars to non-profit organizations throughout the U.S. again this year. Any donations received by the Spafford Food Pantry will be matched by the Feinstein Foundation. Food or monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Pancake Breakfasts and Other Fundraisers

2009 Food Pantry Breakfasts begin March 7 from 8-10 am. April 11 (the day before Easter) they are open from 8-11 am.

The Spafford Fire Department Auxiliary holds Saturday morning pancake breakfasts to raise funds for the Spafford Food Pantry during March and April at the Spafford Firehouse.  The breakfast menu will offer pancakes, French toast, sausage, ham, eggs, home fries, toast, coffee and juice. Hours are from 8 to 10 am.

The Tanya Wright Children Trust Fund

Tanya Wright was a devoted and longtime member of the Spafford FD Auxiliary who was tragically killed in an automobile accident. The trust fund sponsored by the auxiliary for the three children of Tanya Wright is accepting donations.

Anyone that wants to make a donation for the children can do so by sending a check to~
