The story of the Borodino Tube-Way

It started out as an ordinary Summer's day.

Ryan Baldwin, (formerly) of East Lake Road was riding her bike home and fell into a hole in the ground. After a brief and somewhat tumultuous slide, she was surprised to find herself emerging at the Borodino Landing at Skaneateles Lake.

Together with her Uncle Joe, they decided to capitalize on this "find" for fun and profit. They designed and built the first Tube-Way to Skaneateles Lake, and offered rides to all residents for only 5 cents!

Start:: Four Corners of Borodino, future site of the Spafford Veterans Memorial.

Finish:  Joe emerging from the Tube-Way down at the Borodino Landing.
