The Cherrywood Inn located at 1715 East Lake
Road (Route 41) 9 miles south of Skaneateles, is sponsoring a dinner
to benefit the Town of Spafford Veterans' Memorial. Executive Chef
Peter Trawinski will prepare a menu of grill style dinners at a cost
of $25 per person on Tuesday, July 16 at 7 P.M. Casual fine dining is
a hallmark of the Cherrywood Inn where meals are served in an early
nineteenth century farmhouse constructed of hand-hewn beams. Guests
enjoy a relaxed country atmosphere overlooking a spectacular panorama
view of Skaneateles Lake.

This Veterans' Memorial benefit dinner will further
the goal to honor those in the area who died in the service of their
country. The site, located at the Four Corners in Borodino, is
prepared for development according to plans arranged by an architect.
Plans include design for an obelisk ( a tall, four-sided stone pillar
tapering toward its pyramidal top). Extensive landscaping is planned
with flower gardens, trees and bushes indigenous to the region,
enhanced by a brick walkway and ornate, wrought iron fencing. Tickets
for the benefit may be reserved by phoning (315) 673-4996.
