SPAFFORD TOWN BOARD MEETING IS JUNE 10 AT 7:00 PM - NOT 7:30 PM
The start time of future town board meetings be 7:00 PM, instead of 7:30 PM. The first half hour will be given to residents questions and comments.  Adelphia Cable will  provide an update and answer questions at 7:30 pm.

NEW PWC REQUIREMENTS
All personal watercraft riders are now required to take a Boating Safety Class. Check out the NYS Parks website for a list of classes.  Classes available in our area are listed below:

The Boating Safety Course consists of 4 classes, 2 hours a day -  starting June 28, in the Skaneateles High School cafeteria. Call   685-3078 to register - Fee is $10, payable directly to Albany.  There are 2 sessions: 3-5 pm or 7-9 pm the week of June 28. 


Latest gossip about the proposed Borodino Landing project is that Frank Moran sent a letter to a certain property owner asking if they had any interest in selling their property. Although they say the property is not for sale they are open to offers.

KEN'S KABLE  & POWERLINK UPDATE
From Ken Lieberman 6/02/04 --- Adelphia said they only need 4 more working days to complete the 12 miles of cable strand. 

A welcome packet will be sent near the end of July to describe the services available.

For more information on areas of cable installation,  please call Bill Kaiser of Adelphia -- (315) 255-1260 (ext. 410).  The map from Adelphia can be seen at Town Hall.

SPAFFORD REPUBLICAN PARTY CAUCUS
June 15 at 7:00 PM at Spafford Town Hall. Jerry Schinaman is expected to be nominated for Town Justice. 

Did you know that the first Republican Party was called the Borodino Republican
Club, and  was formed in 1860. President was S.S. Kneeland, Vice-President was Edwin Eddy, who lived on E. Lake Rd. in Borodino (where Bob Schramm lived).
