FAMILY  VALUES

Dear Bad Parents,

Welcome to this week's issue of Family values. We try to bring families together.

On C-Span:  Many people call in and say that President Bush knew about 911 and then let it happen. Therefore, they say,  he is a loser. Yet,  parents who know about their kid's useless activities  and yet do nothing to stop said useless activities, are heroes.

The Post Standard did an editorial about the CRB,  the Citizen Review Board  was to review police misunderstandings with younger community members. This CRB  was to improve the human qualities of the neighborhoods. I sent this political cartoon in. It was not printed so let me print it now.

I thought it better social engineering  if  we at least take a look at the fathers and the mothers.  And not just the cops.

                                                      NEXT:

Blaming  a concept that has no face makes for a meaner world.

This should read: " POST STANDARD abandons honesty in effort not to offend anyone.

The PARENTS. What did they know and when did they know it?

Did Mr. Jones's mother or father ever sit down with their human creation and explain to him the facts of life. Did they feel a responsibility to him and the community,  to say  to him:

" Son,  you're going to date women. Then you're going to fall in love with women.  Then you are going to make love to one of them. Then the girl is going to get sick of your superficial personality and dump you. Don't take it personally. Grow as a person.  I love you, son. I love you, son."  etc, etc, etc... Perhaps this would have helped save the taxpayer court, jail, medical and dental costs for many  years to come...........

                                                  NEXT:

Family Values.

Senator DeFrancisco wrote in last week's Post Standard that, " Jobs are the Key to Saving Syracuse". No it's not, it's better PARENTING.

                                             TRY THIS:

I'd print this front page story and see what would happen in Syracuse. Too sanitized to be creative?

At last weeks neighborhood  anti-violence meeting,  the brother of one of the victims killed in an apartment in Syracuse,  blamed the cops.  Not one person blamed the concept of parenting as it is being practiced in CNY.  It's the parents stupid. It's the stupid  parents.
