Paul Malo is a native of Syracuse who has loved our hill and lake country all his life. He finds the Town of Spafford his favorite spot--the center of it all. Paul is retired from his practice of architecture (the Civic Center is one of his projects) and from teaching at the School of Architecture, Syracuse University. He is author of books and articles on regions of New York State and plans another book about his favorite local area. One of his recent projects was a huge website devoted to the Thousand Islands:
